Should 4-pin Molex connector or 15-pin SATA power connector be used to connect to SATA HDD?

Hi,

The SATA HDD has both 4-pin Molex socket and 15-pin SATA power socket, which one should be used to connect PSU? Is any advantage or issues to use one over another? Or should both be connected?

It really doesn't matter. Use which ever one is conveniently available, it is obviously able to be powered off of a SATA power connector or a 4 pin molex connector so it doesn't matter. Only use one or the other though, not both.
