I built my computer about two years back, a little less, it has given me no problems until yesterday

To start it off, my build is as follows:

Asus Sabertooth 990fx R:1 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 4x4 1667 Ghz 1.65v RAM
AMD FX-8150 @ 4200 Ghz CPU
AMD Radeon HS 7970 stock clock GPU (XFX Black Edition)
Asus Xonar D1 Audio Card
SanDisk 128GB SSD
3 Western Digital 7200 RPM 1TB HDDs
Asus RT-N53 USB WiFi Adapter
CoolerMaster RS-750 PSU
Thermaltake Heatsink + 4 case fans
Generic Combo Drive

Peripherals in case if possible issues:

Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2012
Razer Ouroboros
Razer Tiamat 7.1
Asus 24" 1080p Monitor
YubiKey NEO

Extra Information

I am running Windows 8.1 and have been for a few weeks with no issues
I have tested the 14.4 and 14.6 GPU Drivers with full driver sweeps and have had no luck
I ran a memory tester with 2 passes and no errors
The SMART status on my HDDs and SSD come completely clean
This problem only seems to occur on minecraft and I have tested different RAM allocations (4 and 8 GB)
I am runnning Minecraft on max with custom shaders but get a solid 100fps so it doesn't seem to be a problem
My GPU temps never rise above 60 and CPU temps above 45, both far in the safe range
It always freezes abruptly and there is NO event in event viewer that remotely outlines any issue

The Freeze
I will be just walking around doing whatever and suddenly the screen will go black and then a cluster of lines appear just in the center of my screen making what looks like a a 5in x 5in cluster of random lines in all directions and colors. I will hear a buzzing noise (Sounds like 2 sounds quickly cycling as it isn't one pitch) in my headphones. It will stay like this indefinitely and when I reboot there is no windows recovery, no events in event viewer and no crash dumps. It doesn't seem to be a GPU error though because I have cycled my drivers and it isn't getting very hot and I have cycles drivers and it runs much more graphically intensive games flawlessly. This error seems to happen randomly with no obvious trigger. Doesn't seem to be a CPU error either.

I'm thinking this could be a PSU error although my PSU is less than 2 years old which seems like that is an unlikely time for it to die.
I'm willing to do a lot of diagnostics before I start forking out money for new parts as I made this thinking it would last me at least a good 4-5 years.

Thanks in advance for any help :D
Any help appreciated

EDIT: as far as event viewer logs go I do get an unexpected shutdown error and such but that goes along with any forced shutdown, I flip my PSU switch when it does this. Also after I cleaned the GPU drivers and went to 14.6 I went about 5 hours with no freeze when I only went about 30mins before a freeze before the clean.

EDIT: I'm able too run almost all modes of MSI Kombustor at max settings with no crashing (CPU and GPU don't seem to be the problem)

Solution
Dont lower the voltage . Find an xmp profile with lower speeds and lower voltage . If it doesnt have an XMP profile like that

Then just try two sticks , in dual channel config at 1.65 volts , and 1333 Mhz

I'll try taking out half but I crashed even more quickly when I downvolted it, I think this ram requires 1.65 at 1667 mhz and 1.5 at 1333
