Approximate Purchase Date: In 45-30 days :)

Budget Range: 1600

System Usage from Most to Least Important:Gaming, Photo Editing, Surfing the web

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: None. I am building a whole new pc

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon

Location: City, State/Region, Country - I am located in Sydney. However i want to buy from amazon

Parts Preferences: Intel and Nvidia

Overclocking: Maybe in the future

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe in the future

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I would like a sleek case with a window. I will be using photoshop and the games i like to play are bf games like battlefield 4 and battlefield hardline

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I have a 4 year old 500 dollar laptop. And i want to play games. Self explanatory

EDIT: Some people asked if i could use other websites to buy. Well i could if they dont have massive shipping costs and they ship to australia, sydney. I went with amazon because they have free shipping on everything over 35 dollars.Another thing is that many people listed the R9 290 video card, which is a great card, BUT i would prefer and nvidia one. Still havent decided on my build.

He will have chosen Amazon because they provide shipping to Australia. Newegg etc would have to be shipped to a forwarding address, meaning expensive shipping. Its the same for me in New Zealand.

Relating to that, OP i would suggest getting your case from a local store.
Shipping is ridiculous for cases from Amazon to NZ because of the size and weight of the package. I would imagine its the same for Australia.

Amazon Aus don't deal in Computer. See for yourself: http://www.amazon.com.au/

It is recommended to buy from within Australia so that extra shipping charges may be avoided in case you buy from Amazon.com and have them shipped to Australia.
