I need a new USB3 cable for one of my Toshiba Canvio External HDDs, it seems to have become faulty.
I'm not sure what the cable is called though, it's a standard 1-1.5 metre USB 3 cable, but I don't know what the end that connects into the external is called.
Also while I'm on the subject, how on earth do you open cases of external drives? I have 2 Canvios and a WD My book, I can't tell how to open them. I'd like to know incase the internal Sata to USB thing inside gets faulty (As I understand it a lot of times when people think their external HDD has died it's just the case's wiring?)
