DiskPart not listing HDD in Windows 8.1

I have two WD 2.0TB drives that I wanted to set up in a RAID 1 array. When I installed Windows 8.1 it saw both drives and I installed it on drive 0. However now that I want to use storage spaces to set the second drive up as a mirror drive, it isn't available in storage spaces or in diskpart. I can see both drives in the device manager.

Any thoughts?

Ok so you want to setup RAID 1 on these two drives and these are the only two drives installed correct? Now if you install an OS on a drive that you plan on being in a RAID you have to set the RAID up FIRST (At least for a Hardware Raid).

You can still do a software RAID. To do a software raid check this out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT_0lNZ57k8

Sounds like you didn't quite set it up right to begin with though.
