so im building a new ring next pay ill be able to afford it but im not sure if i picking the right GPU, so the rig will be these parts and im buying in australia (i have selected most of these parts hoping to make a rig that will last for at least 3-4 years)

Intel Core i5 4670K $269.00
MSI Z97 G55 SLI Motherboard $179.00
Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 $129.00
Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Vapor-X 4GB $579.00
Samsung 840 EVO Series 250GB SSD $179.00
Western Digital WD Green 2TB $99.00
Silverstone Strider Gold 850W ST85F-GS $179.00
Corsair Hydro Series H55 CPU Cooler $85.00
NZXT H440 Mid Tower Case Black/Blue 159.00

now the issue is that i could bump up the extra for a "Gigabyte Radeon R9 290X 4GB OC Windforce" for $600.00 but is it really actually better then the "Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Vapor-X 4GB" the Sapphire is a pretty hectic card, please lend me your wisdom and not just "its X there for its better" we all know thats not the case

Most of the R9 GPU's in general are quie good. Honestly its about a 7% increase in performance so its not really worth the money. Save the money for something else. In terms of gaming performance getting 4-5 extra frames wont be worth it since you will already be at extremely high frames with the 290. Anything above 60 wont be noticeable to you. However if you feel that for the money a few extra frames is good then go for it. It might just come in handy 2 years later on a demanding game.
