Hmm you pictures didn't seem to come out. I think you need to have a couple more posts under your belt before you can post pictures. If you want you can PM them to me and I can take a look/post 'em here for you.

Anyhow, those are molex Y connectors. They are used for daisy chaining multiple devices off of a single molex coming from the PSU. Its safe to use them and it looks like you have them plugged in correctly. One of those ends should be plugged into the PSU.

Pictures worked find for me. Those are 4-pin "Molex" connectors. It looks like a couple of them are being used for your case fans.
