hey guys m planning to buy a new gpu wit a psu as i hear my psu might be risky to use wit a hd 7770 or r7 250..i got a 450W zebronics psu

so i got 2 questions..!!

1. will the r7 250/ HD 7770 run with a crosair 450w psu?..
this one to be precise..
http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-vs450-450-watt-psu/p/it...

i hear it needs a 6 pin cable or somethin ..does this psu have tat? and will it be enough for those gpu?..

2. i know HD 7770 is a lot better than r7 250...but wil it make a difference for me?..my monitor is small..17 inch one..so will it make a difference for me?..which one shd i go for?..

Well technically i asked way more than 2 questions xD

Yes, 450w should be enough. Get the hd 7770, it's faster than r7250.
Or save more money and get hd7790 or r7 260x or r9 270x

Given that it's a Zebronics PSU it probably won't output 450W... do you know the exact model and what certification it has, if any?

Huh, somehow I missed that lol...

In that case, the 450W will work fine.. the 7770 is a low powered card.

thanks for the quick reply guys..it seems i cant use my zebronics 450w psu with r7 250 or hd 7770....will i be able to use a r7 240 or gt 640 1gb ddr5 with the zebronics 450w psu?..i know they are significantly weaker cards..but as m tight on budget i ll be happy with one of those if i dont need to buy a new psu..!!

It's not about the ammount of power you need. We're concerned that your zebronics psu may not have the proper protection and certification (basically, its's unreliable) You can use that PSU but be warned that unreliable PSU usually have lower power output than what it say (eg. 450w may only get 230w)

Then the PSU would have been degraded, no longer at its best condition
