Hello everyone!
I am running kali linux on a usb with 32gigs. I would like to make a persistent boot so that i don't have to redownload my software and etc when i reboot. My problem is that my kali image is only 2.9gigs and it uses a partition of 28gigs! I can't resize it in gparted... Does anyone know how to resize the image partition to like 4gigs so that i have 20gigs for my persistent boot?

thanks in advance!
yordi

Well, I've tried that using the usb image writer in linux mint and no joy - the iso image is direct from the kali website but no joy trying to run it from the usb so far

I think it's time to put a notice in this forum regarding Kali Linux: Kids, before jumping on hacking with "Linux Hacker Edition", get some knowledge from regular Linux distros, like Ubuntu, SuSE, Redhat etc. You will be much better afterwards, and you won't ask stupid questions.

Well the cd actually didn't work....
What i did was the following:
I used win32 imager and that worked...
It was that easy!
I thought it was the USB Stick as the imager worked before...
Anyway try win32 imager!
