CPU-Z recognizes all 16gb of ram with 100% correct specs on each stick, but my BIOS only recognizes half the RAM put in. The system browser shows all 4 sticks in, though, so nothing is broken physically.

Mobo: Asrock Z77 Extreme4
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb DDR3 1866

1. Are they seated in the correct slots .... read MoBo manual.

2. Take Out and re-seat .... go into BIOS and set all to defaults.

3. Save and exit, go back into BIOS and see if there.

4. If not there, read manual on how to reset CMOS. Most enthusiast boards will have a button....dunno about your board, might have to use a jumper or remove battery. Go into bIOS, set all to default as above.

5. Make a MemTest 86+ CD once ya get going and run it overnight to make sire all is OK.

I had already tried that and it still doesn't work.

1. They are. All four sticks are the same, and there are only four slots.
2+3. Already tried that, didn't fix it.
4. Reset CMOS multiple ways (Button on mobo and resetting battery) already, didn't fix it.
5. Again, already tried that to no help

do this. put one ram stick in first slot then walk it into each slot to make sure all the ram slots are working. then put one ram stick in see if windows works fine. then three. if the last stick does not work swap it with another stick see if the error still there. it could be a bad ram stick or yu may need to bump the dram voltage due to having all 4 ram sticks. also check with the motherboard ram and cpu guild see if your kit is specd to run with all 4 slots filled. some ram kits and mb work work with 4 sticks.

Already have, tried everything they suggested.

I'll try this as soon as I can
