My computer works fine whenever I use the internet. (Not really a "computer" but a large laptop)
I will give my computer information as I don't know what the real problem is.. It has a large amount of space and I have used this laptop for a long time to play games like League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, etc.. It always used to work so perfectly and precisely. Until one day, it decides to shut off when I launch a game. It doesn't shut down right away when launching the game but decides to shut down about 3 minutes after the game launches. I will say, I'm only 14 and I know technology a tad bit but I don't understand any hard references... I do have a fan under my laptop. I have the 'cooler master' and I use it everytime to prevent it from overheating. Like I said, this computer used to work perfectly and games always worked no matter what. This is the picture of the board I use.

Again, I'm not really familiar with all the tech stuff so can someone tell me how to send the info? Or the "Computer specs" if that's what you need in order to help me? Please inform me step by step to HOW I can post the information in order for you to help me. After that, I will post the information & any help I can receive will be appreciated. I really want to play games but my computer decides to shut off everytime..

PS: I don't think my parents will buy another "battery" or whatever you need in order to fix it. Although, if it is necessary to buy a battery, or a new device in order to allow the computer to work again, I will try getting that but if it's not necessary, please tell me otherwise. (Different ways)

Thank you!

Especially with a blower under it, you have probably collected lots of pet hair, cookie crumbs and gross stuff and it's caught in the ducts or heat sinks of the laptop. The cover will have to come off and blow it out with a small air can.

To test Download the following

http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php
http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/

Open HWiNFO64 (assumes you have 64 bit OS) put on rt side of screen and make sure you can see core temps .... run RoG Real Bench Benchmark .... pit ion left side of screen (takes about 8 minutes) .....Record CPU core temps from max column

Run Furmark....it will display GPU temps on screen .... record them till yellow line reaches right side of screen

Note if the "cooler" thing runs off a USB from your laptop it will make the laptop run hotter .... should only run USB powered coolers off a self powered USB hub
