Hi. I installed my EVGA GTX 760. The card has two power connector slots, a 6pin and an 8pin. I was able to install the 6pin easily and heard a reassuring click but I had a difficult time with the 6+2 pin. I put a decent amount of pressure/force to attempt to get it to click yet it would not click. I know the plug fits as it easily slid in to the connector, it is just that final click. Would I know if there was a problem, ex: gpu refusing to run, if it was not plugged in enough? Also, is it possible that I could have damaged the card by putting pressure on the card in my attempt to fully plug in the power connector? The GPU currently is running fine with a cool temperature.

Did you make sure to plug the cables into the right shapes?

Yes I made sure that they would fit. They easily went right in, it's just that final push where I had difficulties to get them to lock fully in place.

Well, I agree. When it plugged mine I wasnt really sure if it was tight in place. If the gpu is running means no harm done.
