Hello, I have a problem. When im not using my computer but im having taskmanager open it says : 85% of my memory. When i look at the tasks running no one is using more than 100mb. It says 2.5 gb out of 16gb is avaible. When i usually fix this problem i edit the page file and reboot and the problem is solved for a month and then i do the same thing again.. I have scanned computer for viruses and malware =no threats found. Could someone help me to end this problem for good?

Solution
Winows automatically tries to use/cache as much ram as possible. It's typical for a windows 7/8 computer to be sitting near zero free ram. Rebooting will clear it for a little while, but this is done by design so that programs that windows uses most are cached in ram for speedier access.
