The 24 pin PSU cable for my Corsair CX600W PSU won't fit in my motherboard plug all the way. There is still a couple of mm left that won't completely go in and the latch isn't clipping into it as it it is supposed to. I've been putting a pretty big amount of pressure trying to put it in but hasn't been working. Thanks. My motherboard is MSI H87-G43 by the way.

You need to support the motherboard while pushing in to prevent damage.
