I've been using...
attrib +s +h <folder name>
cacls <folder name> /e /c /d %username%
To make a folder hidden and unsearchable. It works, at first, until a file inside the directory is accessed, then it starts showing up in the windows search (start->search field). It seems like windows adds recently accessed files to some kind of history/cache, even if the file was previously in a hidden 'unsearchable' folder. Is there anyway to disable this behavior?
Thanks
