Overheating Problem cant get a stable temperature

So I been trying to get a good temperature to install my OS but it keeps going up and up..I sat down for a period of 3mins in the bios and the temperature went to 30-61C and it kept running up until i decided to turn it off


1)mobo A88x-g45
2)cpu amd 10 7850k
3)got 4fans 1back 1 top and 2fronts
4)***stock cooler which i had to put thermal paste because it was scratch maybe thats the problem i put the thermal paste wrong..i used the pea method..

that top fan is running in intake u should have it running at exhaust beacuse the cpu heatsink is shhoting out hot air and you want to get all the hot air out.

Sounds like you did everything correctly.

Fans look good , are you sure the heatsink is seated correctly.

yes im positive heatsink is in place correctly maybe the thermal paste is too thick or not covering it correctly??

Everything looks correct , that's about all I can say from the pics , your fans are correct.

The top fan is correct it's setup is exhaust in the pic.


Reinstall the CPU one more time make sure you clean it correctly then apply fresh thermal pea sized dot.

Did you clean the old paste before adding the new stuff?

Remove the heatsink and clean all the thermal paste and then try to apply a small rice sized blob in the middle. Let the cooler do the spreading.

Some users may still prefer to spread the paste with a clean razer blade or even spread it thin with a plastic sandwich bag.

Please note that some setups will be hotter at idle in the bios because all the power savings are off before the OS loads and activates them.
