I've been thinking of getting another PNY OC GTX 770 4GB for SLI. I know SLI can cause some scaling issues/micro stuttering so is this a good idea or should I find a single card alternative? If so, what?

Solution
They are good value at the moment and two 770's will kill a 780ti. Plus 4gb instead of 780ti 3.

Using multiple monitors or 1440p though? One 780 is OK for one 1080p gaming monitor

If you already have a 770, then buying one more is a viable rather option than trying to sell off your old card and buying a higher end single card (which also is a viable option if you can sell it off easily for a good price. Plus you can later SLI your higher end card for even more performance.).
Most if not all games now a days will scale (almost) linearly with the second card. Also Micro stutter is no longer the issue is used to be. I am currently running 780Ti SLI and never have any micro stutter.

I'm running one 29" 21:9 monitor and 24" 16:9 monitor. Thanks for all the responses guys, i'll probably just move ahead with my SLI plan.
