Video card dillema 460 756mb sli

Im currently running geforce 460 sli, i have a dillema. If i put in my dvi into the first card the boots up and right after the windows logo is done loading. i loose dvi signal. If i put the dvi into the other video card i get a signal from there. How can i fix this?

Yes the top card works only to the windows loading logo, then the dvi signal is lost and i need to switch to the 2nd ( bottom cards) dvi slow to be able to use the computer

I just tried taking out the 2nd card, it does the same thing. I even tried to put the first card in the 2nd sli slot. and it works just fine
