Hi, I have Corsair vengeance 2x4 8gb 1866 but I'm unable to get that frequency as my motherboard seems to lock it at 1333MHZ.
I am pretty noob in terms of OC but i read alot before doing anything and thats how i got my processor oc stable.
P.D. I got the latest bios update, Ive tried X.M.P Profile 1, bumped the dram voltage a bit, changing ram times (I am pretty sure i did this part wrong) and everytime I boot i get the overclock failure message. So if anyone can post how can i achieve 1866 or atleast 1600 step by step from the start I'll appreciate it alot and sorry for my bad english.
My system specs are
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
FX 6300 (OC at 4.3)
PSU Coolermaster GX 650W
EVGA GTX 770
Zalman CNPS14X
