Question About Motherboard

Solution
The rear panel audio has a separate jack for the microphone than for headphones/speakers. Front panel audio will depend on the case, but I think most desktop cases use separate jacks. Having a single jack for both the microphone and speakers of a headset might be comparatively more common on laptop computers, but I'm pretty sure there are adapters you can buy if the number of plugs from your headset doesn't match the number of jacks on your computer.
