Ok, here's what's going on.

I removed my Gpu to clean, air compressor. Seated back in and started up, no issues at all, let pc on and walked away. Returned not long after to find my pc running, monitor blinking and no response from mouse or kb. Hard reset. No luck, I can only get past the mobo boot screen and then things go black, flashing monitor power led.

I'm able to get into my bios no problem. I can run in safe mode no problem. I can use an Hdmi port and use my on board display no problem with the gpu unplugged and out.

I've attempted going into device manager and removing everything Nvidia and Uninstalling gpu drivers and software while using on board graphics. Reboot with gpu back in and I can actually get into windows and play around for a limited amount of time before things freeze and all I'm left to do is a hard reset.

I've also started with using gpu and installing drivers with safe mode. Installs as should and I reset to boot normally. Black screen after mobo boot screen.

Reseated RAM

POST is as should be, no code errors.

I've been running around for almost 3 hours now. I have a new gpu coming in a few days to test as I was going to sell this 680 but I'm just assuming it's a giant brick now? Anything else I'm missing that I could try to fix this? I just can't imagine compressed air running my gpu when I've been doing it regularly for 2 years now.

Specs are as follows:

i5-3570k @4.3 | ASUS Sabertooth Z77 EVGA GTX 680 | 8GB Ripjaws X | Corsair TX850W

Well, if anything I'll RMA it as I've one more year left of warranty on it. But I'm also noticing I've a ! In my device manager under monitor highlighting "Generic non-pnp monitor"

Could this be causing issues for me at all possibly regarding this?

its quite hard to determine the fact that the system is working fine when using onboard gpu answers the question that it is indeed the gpu that is having problem go forn an rma you dont wanna void the wtty by opening it up
