Note: If people see this thread via google try to reapply your thermal paste I worked for me (still didn't figure out how to change the volts)

Hi,

I am new to the community. I was trying to do some overclocking things. But I noticed that if I run prime95 with stock GHz I get my temps up to 100C. So I tought maybe I should get a little less voltage,but I cant get lower than 1.2875v? Can anyone help me?

My specs:
i7 920 @ 2.66 (stock)
Foxconn Flaming Blade MOBO
Corsair H50 liqiud cooling
Sector 7 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 (not sure what MHz)
GTX 570 GFX Card
Ask for more details?

Solution
@andymanius, he's already at stock.

@OP, try dusting the cooler. Check all fans are spinning, and possibly try removing the cooler and cleaning and reapplying the thermal paste.

It doesn't really work because if I overclock the CPU at this voltage to 3.2 I get the same temps as 2.66.

Everything is working fine but I will try new thermal paste. But you have a solution for me that I can't get lower than 1.28750v?

The BIOS don't let me. I can select +10mv etc.. but I cant get lower than default. The BIOS let me do it one time but I didn't need it at that moment.
