WAYYY too much CPU for an HD7870 (which can be pushed quite well by an Athlon X4 750K). You could purchase a 500GB Samsung SSD for the price difference :ouch: and still save some cash ...

If you stick with Intel, go with a 9-series motherboard for a possible upgrade path to Broadwell.
