I'm debating wether to go with a nh d14 and a Cougar CF-V14HP for exhaust. Or should I kill two birds with one stone and go with the kraken x41 in push pull with noctua NF-A14. I think the x41 would be the better option because I'm looking for better exhaust and cooling. What do you think?

Solution
At best the cooling from the Kaken X41 might be close to the Noctua. But without at least a good review or two or
three go with a proven product, the Noctua. The cougar fan will be fine also.
I tried to find a review of the X41 but I was unsuccessful. I think that is because it is so new. I know that NZXT makes some excellent coolers and I have seen some very high ratings for the X60. You may want to wait for reviews of the X41.

If you need to make a choice right away, I have a Noctua NH D14 and I know that you cannot go wrong with this option.

I ended up with the kraken x41 in my main rig and the noctua in my htpc which i game on also. Tried the 140 pwm cougar and the stock nzxt fan on the x41. The nzxt fan worked better then the cougar but i still wasnt satisfied with the performance of either so i went with the beast fan from noctua NF-A14 which i highly recommend its super quiet and the rpm range is from 900 to 3000 though it never reaches 3000 in normal operation, but when i set it at 3000 rpm it is as loud as a box fan. Its nice to have that fan curve. My conclusion is that the x41 is not a good cpu cooler for overclocking. The 4790k is a awesome chip and i have it clock at 4.7 but when i run prime it stays at 70c for about 20 minutes then the temps start going up quickly after that and when I say quickly i mean from 70c to 95c in about 30 seconds and thats not a temp it should be running at. Its like the kraken just gets tired and just stops cooling. So if your thinking about the kraken x41 dont do it the price is high for what you get in my opinion. In about a month im going to pick up the swiftech h240x and maybe this will give me a constant temp. The Nh d14 is in a bitphenix colossus with a g3258 clocked at 4.4 with 1.28 volts running through it and it never breaks 55c running prime for hours which is awesome.
