Solution
850 is fine for 780ti SLI.

CPU=~100W
GPU=~250Wx2=500W

That's 600 between the main players in your system. mobo is like 15 maybe and everything else is very small. This is all assuming you're running a program that is maxing everything at 100%, which in real world usage is unlikely.

Motherboard: asrock extreme 6 z77 mobo ...................... 38 Watts
CPU: i5-3570k@4.5@1.2v ............................................... 95 Watts
Memory: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws 1600mhz .............................. 6 Watts
Graphics Card: EVGA 780ti SC acx cooling ..................... 279 Watts (Maximum Power Consumption while running Furmark Stability Testing)
Hard Drive: 1tb western digital hard drive ....................... 10 Watts
SSD Drives: Samsung evo 240gb ssd ................................ 0.5 Watts
120gb sand disc ssd .......................................................... 0.5 Watts
CPU Cooler: hyper evo 212 ............................................... 3 Watts
Cooling Fans: front fan and rear fan (front fan is led lit) ... 9 Watts

Total: 441 Watts

Add Second GeForce GTX 780 Ti ... +260 Watts

New Total: 701 Watts

Your EVGA SuperNOVA 850w G2 is more than sufficient to handle the second graphics card.
