I want to buy a good cheap power supply for my fx 6300 in a micro atx cougar case.. I got a deal for 100 for cpu and motherboard...what would be a good psu and will a regular unit fit in microatx cougar case???also, is fx 6300 on par with intel i3 haswells.budget is 40 - 50 dollars ????

Power supply and cheap do not go together. For those parts, you probably want a 500-600w psu, and you really don't want to get something under $70 or so for that price, it will be crappy quality, won't last long, and when it dies it might take other components with it, and because of the way wattage is tested, it might not even be able to supply the rated wattage it claims.
