Need help building my first gaming PC. Mostly for modded playthroughs (Fallout, Skyrim, etc.), ArmA, and DayZ, aswell as some FRAPS recording. After doing some research and deciding on a budget this is what I came up with:

CASE: Cooler Master HAF 912

MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX

CPU: AMD FX-8350

STORAGE: Kingston SSDNow 240GB

GPU: EVGA GeForce 660 FTW 3GB Signature Two

RAM: G. SKILL Ripjaws X Series (2x4GB)

PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M/M2

I've been doing research for a few weeks and saving for a little bit, but roughly $1000 is my budget and I hope to not go over $1200. Any replacements or better parts you can think to help my budget please let me know. After a bit of time and getting ready to start buying some final thoughts would really help. As far as additional storage, I'm looking at maybe a 1/2TB HDD aswell as a portable Hard Drive. The SSD is just for installation data (Microsoft Programs, Steam Games, and the OS). Thanks all of you for your help.

You can get a much more powerful system with $1000

See the build below
-Upgraded to an i5 haswell refresh, overclockable so if you don't think you'll ever overclock let me know and I'll make some changes
-didn't include an SSD as they are optional for gaming. They help with load times but not FPS at all. If you have the budget remaining you can of course add one.
-Upgraded video card to R9-280X
-Upgraded power supply to a higher quality. This one is made by Seasonic, arguably the best PSU maker in the industry.
-wasn't sure if windows should be included in the budget but added it.
