Hi, I recently had trouble with my computer overheating (I screwed up after not screwing the cpu fan correctly and trying to overclock) I took it to a local technician for clean up and to check if my fan controller and temperature display was working (It beeped as if my computer was on fire but kept showing temperatures that didnt go over 34 degrees). I called to check on the computer and they said it arrived without giving video (It still gave video when I last tried) they said that maybe the car drive might have moved stuff around and that they always tried booting the pc before getting into it. Long story short, the little screen on the AsRock 990FX extreme 4 displayed many lines. The CPU was apparently the problem and I bought a new one and a new CM hyper 212 evo. Still didnt show video, but now the motherboard screen was showing 2 zeros. Can anybody pleaase help me because now they want me to buy a new motherboard. I cant believe that this is taking so long. I had just gone out of vacations from a very stressful 2 weeks of exams and this comes up.

Btw, they say that they already tried all the simple things (ram reseat, resetting the CMOS battery, etc but still give suggestions if you know of something that might work)

Setup:
AMD FX 8350
AsRock 990FX Extreme 4
GSkill Ripjaws 4GBx2
Rosewill green series 630W (I think so, not sure)
Saphire 7870 Radeon 2GB

Have you tryed the clear cmos button on the IO panel?
Otherwise, try another motherboard. I have seen this before with overclocking where the base clock timer (bclk) dies.
