i want to know the best video games on pc in this time period because i have a gt 310.
i will get a gtx 750 in the near future but for now i just want to know the best video games from 2003 til 2009

FPS: All COD games from that period, Battlefield (2), Far Cry, Borderlands, Halo (the ones that were made for PC), TF2, Bioshock, and Unreal tournament.
RPG: Oblivion, Morrowind, the FAllout games from that period, and Mass Effect.
TPS: Hitman games and Dead Space.

Those are the ones that come to mind.

are the cod games from that time period good?
i've played mw3 and black ops 2 and they are pretty bad

Well Crysis isn't exactly the lightest game to run (considering the GT 310), but Diablo 2 is an excellent suggestion.
