CPU dying or mobo?

Recently I have been having a problem with my computer it is a:

AsRock Extreem 3 mobo
FX-6300 OC CPU
212 evo cooler
16 gb of GSkilll Ripjaw ram
850w seasonic PSU (previously a 450w antec)
GTX 660 ti
OCZ 120 gb pci-e ssd (revodrive 3)
1tb HDD

So my problem is that my computer has been dying on me, it has just shut down, previously it has been shutting down randomly not very often but it would BSOD and say not to shut down while doing the memory dump. (there was one time recently when I restarted it during this process but have done a fresh install since then (1 week ago)) it was giving the error id or 1033

now it is just crashing no BSOD or anything just dies. I have to power cycle it to turn it back on, it happened every time while in a game 2 times in sniper elite v2 and once in natural selection 2
when it dies randomly and when I reboot it it says that windows has recovered from an unexpected shut down and gives the error message of 1033

Solution
What actual BSOD error code are you getting? Have you tried memtest 86+ that was also recommended? You can also try another simple option which is to boot the machine with the bare minimum needed.. i.e. removing the other sticks of ram, graphics card (swap to onboard) etc. Narrow down the problem that way.
It is extremely rare for a cpu to fail, but I suppose it does happen.
Most likely, it is the motherboard.

1. Check out the ram. Run memtest 86+. Possibly some ram has gone bad.
2. See if there are any bios updates for your motherboard. Do not update on speculation. A failed update can truly brick your motherboard.
3. Make certain your graphics drivers are current.

I will try memtest 86+ and see what it says I tried that a year ago and there wernt any problems (which there could be now but there wernt any then)
as to the temps I get different readings from AXTU (asrocks tuning utility) HDmonitor, and amd overdrive. the highest one is the AXTU which doesn't go above 50c, idles at 34c

I will check the drivers on my gpu and see what is to be had there,
and as to the revodrive yea that could be the issue and I hope that it isn't it took forever to get a replacement when the last one died 4 months ago.

and as to the bare minimum what would you say to the fact that that mobo does not have an onboard video out? just leave the card in and unistall the drivers for the gpu? or...?

as to the error message here is what it says:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.4
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 3b
BCP1: 00000000C0000005
BCP2: FFFFF9600029C43E
BCP3: FFFFF8800A4D4E60
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1

I don't know how to upload the minidump files but I do have those (or how to open those but I can look that up)

and I will be on a vacation from tommorow till sunday so I will be away from my computer but will still be able to check answers and questions

thanks so much for all of the quick replies! :D

If you're overclocking, restart to your optimized default settings. Overclocking could very well be the cause. Like I said before, narrow it down to see if it's a software vs hardware issue.

For bare minimum if you don't have onboard then don't worry about your GPU. Perhaps if the memtest86 checks out, try just running 1 stick of ram anyway to see what happens.

But since you mentioned overclocking..try resetting your overclock settings first to see if you still get crashes or not. Think of a checklist of things that help narrow down the issue..being able to figure out at least if it is a hardware vs software type of problem goes a long way in terms of troubleshooting the issue.

I updated the Graphics driver and also set the overclock to the default setting, and havent had the issuse for a week. Thanks for all of your responses and I will do the memtest today to see if that is an issue.
