Solution
i bet if you look in the BIOS..............you're going to have to make the 1866 run at 1866 too. either one will run at 1333 until you do. ................... but that's okay. whatever makes you feel comfortable.

I'll just stick with this : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-BLS8G3D1609ES2LX0CEU-1600MHz-Ballistix-Single/dp/B00A14ZTWE/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1402942706&sr=1-2&keywords=crucial+ballistix+sport+8gb thanks for the help, but it seems that dual channel ram makes no difference. Thanks again, best solution for answer :)

AMD CPU's have MCs. I have seen too many 8350's that would not run 1866MHz memory. RMAing the cpu fixed the problem. They are only rated at 1866MHz. OC'ing them lot's of times will cause serious stability problems.

As a matter of fact the AMD cpu's 8350's and etc are all 1333MHz memory that AMD has just bumped up the numbers on paper to 1866 to make them look more attractive to buyers.

An interesting post from another thread spells it out pretty good.
Here's the link to the post/thread.

Best bet may be to drop the sticks to 1600 and try, the FX CPUs are rated "UP TO 1866" and thats at 1 stick per channel and the testing they did was with 4 GB sticks, I haven't seen one yet run 32GB at 1866... 1600 is possible, have done that, but actually 1333 is more the norm for 32GB

Can't even run a full 32GB of memory @ 1866MHz with FX CPUs.
