When playing graphic intensive games my computer shuts down. Brand new build.

When i play a graphic intensive game my computer shuts down in 5-10 minutes and restarts.

Mother Board-rampage iv black edition
Cpu- i7-4930k 3.40 GHz
Ram- Vengeance corsair 16gb
video- Asus GTX780TI-DC2OC-3GD5
Power- EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 80 PLUS GOLD Certified 1300W

Could be a defective PSU. Do you have another one to test with? You are describing the typical too small, or failing PSU symptoms. It's obviously not too small. But there could be other reasons, too. Loose connection that disconnects when the system heats up. Check the 24 pin and 8 pin MB headers. Sometimes they don't go in far enough to clip the latch. Then they back out under heat/load.

A failing MB could be the problem too, but hard to diagnose.

League it's fine and stable, it ran star citizen for about 4 hours no problem. but when i would try to play Archage(it restarts in about 5-10 min) , before i re-installed windows to switch my raid config. im downloading star citizen right now to see it still works.

i have read alot of people having this problem, but not really any clear fixes, so far i have tryed new and older drivers. replaced my psu. i have switched to down to gen 2 from gen 3 on the port.
