if u have the asus m5a97 r2.0, how long has it been working for you?

found some reviews that said it didn't last more than a few months. people that say it was good never really say how long they have had it.

so im just wondering how long have had this mobo? were there ever any problems?

if it matters, i also plan to get:
cpu: amd fx 6300
gpu: amd radeon r7 265
ram: patriot viper xtreme 8 Gb

note: not planning on overclocking or using crossfire/sli

I've had several M5A97 R2.0 and no issues at all. I've had two personally, both are well over a year old. Both are heavily overclocked too, one has a Phenom 965 @ 4.3 Ghz, the other has an FX6350 @ 4.8 Ghz.

I have also built probably 40+ systems with these motherboards and not a single issue out of any of them.
