Hey,

I'm on quite a tight budget here and I wanted to know if two GTX 780's 6GB will run a 4K display?

Here's the link: http://www.cclonline.com/product/150432/06G-P4-3787-KR/Graphics-Cards/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-780-Superclocked-with-ACX-Cooling-6GB-Graphics-Card-PCI-E-DVI-HDMI-DisplayPort/VGA2474/

If not, what would? :l

yeah they will run them, any gpu with 2-3gigs of vram will run a 4k display. but for gaming you will be lowering settings to get playable frame rates. which sottra defeats the purpose of having the higher dpi screens.
there are only 2 gpu configs that can run most games at max or near it and still stay above 30 fps on something like bf4. thats the 2x295x and a titan black sli setup. even then your gonna get huge variations between min and max fps.

so yeah the screens are out but the current crop of gpu's just dont have the grunt to run them for gaming. IMO wait a year if you want to play games, or knock yourself out if you want 4k video.
