Hey,

I'm on quite a tight budget here and I wanted to know if two GTX 780's 6GB will run a 4K display?

Here's the link: http://www.cclonline.com/product/150432/06G-P4-3787-KR/Graphics-Cards/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-780-Superclocked-with-ACX-Cooling-6GB-Graphics-Card-PCI-E-DVI-HDMI-DisplayPort/VGA2474/

If not, what would? :l

Yeah, I would prefer a pair of 290x's for 4k over 780s for the same price. And don't worry about frame pacing issues, the 290/290x have hardware fixes for that, so that isn't a problem with them anymore (for the most part). Just make sure you have enough power!

Power isn't that bad either together 2 R9 290X's take 800w over clock in crossfire so its not that bad with a 1000w psu, I'm getting 2 R9 290X's an i7 4790k and a silverstone 1200w gold psu and overclocking everything so yeah, good luck with 4K you'll need it haha.

Hi Hazzard,

the intergrated CPU graphic will run 4k given appropriate output (DP). It would look good for work and photo editing.
To run games at 4k, 2 780s 6gb will run most games 4k at lower settings but the limitation is on horsepower not VRAM.
3 780s 6gb may be needed.

cheers.
