I have an asrock 87z exteme6 motherboard, im running windows 8.1, my problem is that I can not access the BIOS because my USB's are not working during startup. So no keyboard, I believe I need to change the usb legacy settings. Any help or suggestions would be great thanks

Solution
You can see if you can borrow a PS2 keyboard from someone.

Another option MIGHT be to try to reset your bios back to factory settings by removing the battery or jumper, or bios reset button, and hope that it turns on USB legacy, which is the default on some boards.

check that yur keyboard and mouse in usb 2.0 ports. if the keyboard wont turn on in time a lot of vendors have tools in there download pages for there newer mb that boot into the bios on the next reboot or let you change the bios settings from inside of windows.

Well I jumpered the motherboard to reset, trouble is now on load screen wants me to hit f1 or f2, that is not an option. 1 thing I can do is on extreme6 MB it has a a or b selector, if I set to b I starts up on original bios and everything works fine, but I would like to fix the a setting
