I need help finding parts for a 1225 dollar gaming build including everything besides rebate

hello, I am trying to finish my part list for a 1225 dollar gaming computer build. Here is the build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Mt9yqs I need the price of the computer including everything besides rebate to go down to 1125. I plan on overclocking once I buy water cooling, and need an i7. I also want a very good gpu that will be very fast and give me lots of frames. Since I will be overclocking, I need a good motherboard. I also need 8gb of ram for gaming. SSDs are very fast and neccessary so I need that as well. I thought that cases with power supplies save lots of money, but I don't know how good it is, I could use some advice. I need an optical drive to install computer things. I also know I want to upgrade to windows 8 or 8.1, I want a good gaming mouse, keyboard, and headphones, and also I need a way to get my rebate all from one place. Thank you in advance!

Are you sure a single 120GB SSD will be enough to suffice for your storage?

You said you need 8GB RAM for gaming, but you also need an i7.
Those two statements do not go together.

A game computer does not really need an i7. Similarly, an SSD is a 'nice to have', but not a requirement for a games machine.

What are you using this for, and where are you buying?
Do you need a monitor, mouse/kybd, OS?

May I ask why you need the i7? The i5 4670k is all you need for gaming.

You could save about 100 right there and you would be sacrificing nothing.

And as commented above, you almost certainly need more than 120GB drive space. Be that SSD or HDD, 120 is pretty slim for a games machine.

I won't be recording or video editing or things like that, just gaming, watching youtube, and doing homework. The i7 issue is that one of my friends who bought a 1500 dollar computer told me to get a i7 for sure and the graphics card isn't as important for gaming. ( I got in a fight with him yesterday thats why i'm on here) and the people online say i7 is not important for gaming, so i have a bit of an enigma. I really don't know what to do. that's why I THOUGHT I needed an i7. Also, could you explain what you said about the ram? I didn't understand. I am buying from different places, ( I use pcpartpicker) and I could use some help as this is my first build.

If you are installing games as well as the OS and all your applications, a 120GB SSD will not last 2 weeks, much less until December.

My 128SSD has the OS and all applications on it. Currently ~52GB used.
My meager SteamApps folder (that lives elsewhere) is ~50GB. And I am not a hardcore gamer.

As you can see, that would completely eat up a 120GB drive.

If this is a gaming machine, then you do not need to spend the extra on an i7.
A good GPU is far more important than i5 vs i7. No matter what your 'friend' says.

Id just make sure you can get the i5 4670k with a 250gb SSD and either a 770 (or equivalent) or 780.

In your budget, you won't be able to get an intel overclocking build with the monitor and accessories. the i5 4590 is sufficient.
For the case, never get a case + PSU combo they are terrible and logysis makes junk power supplies that do not out put the stated power. That power supply you had would not power a high end card like the gtx 770.

Having only a 120gb SSD will make things tight for space but you can't afford a 250gb SSD at this time. A 1 TB HDD would probably be a better start and you can add SSD later and move your windows over to it. THats up to you, if you think you can get away with only 60gb for programs other than windows then good luck:
