Can it handle a GTX 770 and a i5 4670?

Solution
Hmm, well the stuff I read about that power supply says it only has a single 6+2 (8) pin connector and the gtx 770 needs a 6 pin and 8 pin connector to work so it looks like you would need a new PSU to run it after all (unless you find out that it actually has 2 PCIe power conectors).

Another option would be to get a molex to 6 pin power connector for the additional power but I am not sure how safe/reliable that option is.

The power supply in that build should be enough to power a gtx 770 but it is cutting it close. I typically recommend a 550w or above but you could do it with a 500w psu as long as you aren't overclocking it. Keep in mind that for the i5 4670 you would need to change your motherboard since it uses a different socket.

The other thing you will want to double check is that there is enough room in the tower for the GPU that you pick since the gtx 770 will probably be a bit longer than the r9 260x you already have in there.

Okay, but if i cant use a i5 4670 can i use a 8320?

Yeah you can use the fx 8320 on the motherboard you have. Also did some digging around and your power supply may only have 1 8 pin connector for the GPU while the gtx 770 typically needs 2 6 pin connectors or a 6 and a 8 pin connector, so it may not work after all. If you pop open the case can you find out how many cables it has for connecting to the gpu? The connectors look like this

How about a GTX 760 then will that work or is it the same?

The gtx 760 typically needs 2 6 pin connectors so you would still need to use a molex to 6 pin connector to get it going. For your power supply to not have 2 6 pin connectors really sucks since pretty much any power supply over 450w should have 2 connectors for modern graphics cards.

Well seems like im buying a new power supply, which power supply should i get?

Depends on what is available in your area. Typically stick to Seasonic, Antec, XFX or some corsair units (HX, AX, TX series only). Superflower is supposed to be pretty good too (what you already have) but what is in your build is probably their budget version or something. I would recommend getting 650w so you have plenty of headroom for the power supply to age. If you have a website you use I can try to find a good one.

How about this? http://www.netonnet.se/art/dator/komponenter/ntaggregat/Seasonic-X750W/195201.7051/
Seasonic 750w 80+ gold, Will it work fine?

550-600 W is a safe bet I suppose, but in actuality the total system power draw would likely be in the 300-400 W range. As long as its a good 500 W unit (I understand Super Flower makes trustworthy PSUs) I'm very confident it would be fine.

Note that this data is with a very power-hungry i7-3960X platform, so its erring on the side of caution for purposes of this thread.

Edit: Nevermind, didn't notice the stuff about the PCIe power connectors. Might be better to get a different PSU or GPU if that's the case.

The 750w gold Seasonic would work fine but you could easily drop down to the 650w.

Actual power usage with a gtx 770 will be closer to 425w max (its best to run your psu at 80% or less of its rated output) so a 550w would work perfectly too but I didn't see many good ones around that wattage. I also prefer extra power since power supplies start to output less power as they age.

Okay i'll buy that one, Thanks for your help :)
