Well since, I'm new to this community I'd thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Colby Smith, and currently 13 (Yeah 13 xD). I've been PC gaming for 2 years now and just started getting into it. I've been saving for a few months for a GTX 780, and I was wondering if it was worth it. I've heard great things about it, but I just don't want to put that much money into it. I currently have a GeForce GTX 650 TI OC 2GB, my CPU is a AMD Black Edition: FX 6100 6 Core (Not sure if I needed to share it:p).

Anyway, I was curious on if I should keep saving for the GTX 780 for the next 5-6 months, or look for a cheaper GPU. I was also wondering If I should look into a new CPU. My CPU isn't the best by any means, but she does the work. If you guys think I do need a new one please elaborate.

Thanks for taking your time to read this..

Colby;)

I'm going to jump in and say if your gaming at 1080p and I was in your shoes then I would not save up for 780, while its a nice card a better balance based on your CPU would be a 770.

What games do you play? I'm, dare I say it, 14, and after saving for most of the year and giving up both my birthday and christmas presents for my PC when I was 13, I was only anble to get a 280x, which has similar performance to a 770. It can pretty much max everything out. That's what I would go for. A 770. Sorry for a slightly confusing answer, I'm in a bit of a hurry.

Then you should be fine with a 770. That is what I would get. Either that or a 280x, depending on what is cheaper.

Okay, thanks! I'll take both of your ideas into thought! :)
