Refurbished hdd or new hdd?

It's tomsave some money I've heard ton of things

Refurbished means higher control quality

Normaly they are return due bios incompatibility.

They work just fine

Etc. I was planning to get a western digital refurbished 1tb hdd

depends on the warranty period there offereing. if its 6 months and there around half price then yeah go for it.. but if there just a 10er cheaper then buy new.

honestly though theres no such thing as a refurbished hdd, as refurbished means worn parts are replaced with new, and you cant do that with hdds. they will have been pulled out of a machine and formatted thats all. the quality is the quality the manufacturer supplied and has nothing to do with the second hand merchant.
