Hello first time builder here. I just built an entire computer trying to follow all the directions to the T including getting all matching parts. Everything works fine. Except when i try to load all 4 sticks of my RAM into my mother board the computer wont post. Fans fire and the light comes on saying the computer is starting up but my monitor stays black as does my keyboard. I can load the sticks of ram into my 1st and 2nd channel but if i load anything into 3 or 4 or into 3 or 4 individually the computer will not post. Each individual stick of ram works, I dont know if the 3rd and 4th channel are bad or if they work as I cant get the computer to post even if they are the only one or two being used.

My computer build is http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kwVdxr all 4 sticks of ram were bought at the same time but as 2 seperate double bundles.

*Slots 1 and 2 work in unison.

The first thing you do when building a computer is picking a motherboard. Your motherboard supports a maximum of 32 gigabytes of ram. So you would be at the maximum amount of ram, but that is ok because it is made to support it.
After that you need to check the supported memory that the motherboard supports.

Your memory Corsair Vengeance is listed, so that is good.

If all 4 memory modules check out, you may have to update the bios. Put in 2 sticks of ram so that windows is bootable and goto the msi website and download the latest bios for your motherboard.

Ok sorry to get back to this so late. So i finally got the v1.2 of the bios downloaded. Was at V1.0. However even this did not fix my issue. 3 and 4 are still dead so far. Ive seen a few people with the same problem on here. And i noted at least one of them running the same Mobo that i am. And one from last year with the version before this mobo.
