Solution nukemaster Jun 16, 2014 At current, I think the 7540D is a VLIW based core and only CGN based cores support the new Mantle API. I can not be sure that AMD may not be able to make it work on older cards, but I have a feeling they may not.

G Guest Guest Jun 16, 2014 #3 Nope, only GPUs using the GCN architecture support it. The CPU will work for mantle if you ever decided to get a dedicated video card, but only the Kaveri APU's integrated graphics work in Mantle. Upvote 0 Downvote
