Alright, I tried the AMD forums with this problem with limited success (there seems to be 2-3 people on it at all times...)

Original post:
Just updated to AMD 14.6 and I am getting really low fps on most games. For example, on BF4 I get around 30 fps with Ultra and about 50 fps on low.

Whenever I update to a new driver, I always have this happen and I have to downgrade back to my old driverset.

It might be a Win8 problem. Our CPU/GPU setups are about the same except I'm running Win7, and I'm not having any issues in any of my games. I'm not a fan of playing that type of game, so I can't address those games, but there sure are a lot of folks on this forum that are having FPS issues with BF4. It almost seems like it is a broken game.

[strike]Are you by any chance running ShadowPlay at the same time?[/strike]
(of course you're not...lol)

I presume you've uninstalled the old driver first, used Driver Sweeper?

I have noticed a drop in all applications. Videos are horribly paced with skipped frames happening all over. I have tried installing the drivers AMD's way and when that did not work, I used DDU. And yes, I know that you uninstall, restart, install, restart. It is just that the drivers after 13.12 (the ones with mantle) are the ones giving me problems. With 13.12, I would get >100 fps in the same spots in BF4. With the newer drivers, I am getting what you see in the pics with both mantle and DX11. It isn't BF4 either like I said. It happens in all applications.... I don't know what to do.

Just reinstalled 14.4. Same results. I am pulling my hair out over this. The only error it gives is that the HDMI driver failed to install. I don't even have an HDMI installed, so this is most likely not the problem.

Went back and tested all from 13.12 - 14.6.
14.3 Beta is the most stable version on my setup besides 13.12.
Thanks for the help. I guess I will just wait for 15.XX or 16.XX.
