How much difference does fan speed increase make?

Dear Forumers,

I have a tower with two possible settings for, I believe, the external fans. My question is:

How much difference could setting it to the higher setting make for performance? (generally)

Case fans it dosent matter much, most are single speed anyway.

For heatsink and radiators higher speeds can drop temps up to 10C depending on cooler, config, fans, and temps.
