Hi folks, after moving domiciles, I'm having some issues using multiple displays.

Pre-move: TV connected to the graphics card (VGA to DVI converter), 1 or 2 Acer monitors connected to the onboard (HDMI and VGA), so two or three used screens. This worked for years.

Post-move: I can use either the onboard or the card, but not both (only testing TV and one Acer monitor right now). If my BIOS is set for IGFX-GFX0-GPP-PCI, the onboard is fine, but the GeForce is getting a code 43 error when I look at it in the Device Manager. If I go with GFX0-GPP-IGFX-PCI then I get the graphics card output and the onboard doesn't even show up in the Device Manager.

Graphics card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti

On-board:
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

PC:
Gateway DX4300, Windows Vista Home 64-bit.

Power Supply:
Corsair TX850

Have tried (perhaps not optimally):
- Updating drivers
- BIOS changes
- Connecting the TV / monitor to the onboard / PCI card and vice-versa, with VGA / DVI / HDMI / VGA->DVI converter
- Looking at my registry to find "upperfilters" and "lowerfilters" (none existed, so I didn't delete any)
- Restarting things
- Switching which cable powers the GTX 650

At some point, I got a message that "Incompatible display adapter has been disabled. At least one display adapter on the system has been disabled because its driver is not compatible with the driver for the VGA adapter" - However, I didn't have the foresight to note what led to that message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Code 43 is a generic problem code that means that windows can not properly recognize it.
It means one of 3 things.
1. You are not compatible (obviously not the case it worked before)
2. Drivers malfunctioned (again not the case it worked before and you checked that)
Finally and sadly 3. It can also mean something is wrong with the hardware and won't function properly.
Seeing as the other two don't fit and your move could have likely have damaged it the likely conclusion is it got accidentally damaged.
Sorry mate.
