Ok... so first off. I'm a computer building novice for sure and this was my first solo build start to finish. I'll link the parts list as follows.

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Vexxed/saved/DcsmP6

A quick description of my setup. H100i as top exhaust with stock fans replaced by nf-f12 pwms pushing air out through rad. I have 2 nf-a14 pwms as front intakes controlled through corsair link along with the 2 radiator fans. I have one additional nf-a14 pwm as rear exhaust as well as 1 of the stock h100i fans as a bottom intake. SSD as the boot drive behind panel and my Hardrive & CD drives up in the 2 5.25 bays of the define r4. All hard drve cages removed for airflow. Everything was great for 5 days with idle temps where they should be under minimal load. This morning though.....thats not the case.

When I tried to wake my monitor I was greeted with a "no dvi signal msg" so I tried to reboot and found out that the case power and reset are non-responsive. The case led on power button is getting power though. The evga gtx 780 ti appears to have a liquid residue that's very hard to see and only possibly with good light and the right angle. I don't see any other signs of a leak though I haven't taken the fans off the radiator yet. The residue on the card is about where a leak from the tubing/pump assembly would end up though. I'll list this info a bit more simply...

-Mobo doesn't post. No power led lighting up or codes/light from the debugger
-fans on gpu weren't spinning.
-anything direct powered by psu was working. Namely pump and 4 fans plugged into it. Pump gets a molex from psu.
-the power button on mobo will power system on but not shut it down and the reset on mobo doesn't work
-case power button definitely won't turn anything off or reset but I think I was able to power on with it.
-fans powered by mobo don't work.

Ok so the questions... gpu is probably toast Imo bc that's the only spot atm I can see there was damage. Mobo seems to be toast as well though. I pulled gpu and still won't post. I have not tried pulling dram yet though. I guess I'm really just trying to figure out what's toast before I talk with corsair about a rma and damage claim. From what I've read it seems I should eventually get cash for damages but this will all be such a slow and painful process. Can the mobo be damaged from the gpu getting wet? Ok.... too much rambling. If anyone wants to outline some suggested steps to just figure out what's broken I'd appreciate it.

Solution
In this case you've figured out that mobo and gpu are gone. Right?

Now it is time for you to check the RAMs, CPU and PSU.

Once you know all these toasted components. Make your claim it to the Corsair because it is their product which has caused damaged beyond repairs to the components. Their customer support service is good enough. It is time for compensation.

Hello man

Honorable

Watercooling gets a bad name for events like these. If you ever do water-cool again, go custom with a NON CONDUCTIVE FLUID. Not deionized water, that becomes conductive after it touches metal. Conductive fluid is super stone age. Check with Corsair about any sort of guarantee not to leak.

You are going to have to replace the hardware.
HDD, Case, Drives, Ram, CPU, GPU, and PSU could all possibly be salvaged.

I have heard of many cases where corsair will replace everything that was damaged if you send them the parts, and prove it was their product (which isnt hard)

Well I did my research and wouldn't have gone with a CLC unless I thought the odds of failure so slim as to be worth it. I'm still planning on using the same h100i again as long as I'm treated well through the RMA / damage process. The part that sucks is that without the mobo I have no way to test what else is toast. I think I'll just get in there with a camera and take it apart documenting as I go. If I have to send them everything but the psu and case so be it. I'll have 5 talk to them obviously to see what the next step is....

It was only once someone actually send the items in, but photos (DETAILED) make sure its detailed, should be plenty, as well as proof of purchase.
Corsair is very, very good with their service. I had a PSU fail and had a new one in 3 days from them, no questions asked. Proving the H100i was at fault will be a bit more work than an PSU, but they should be receptive.

Good Luck
