Is this set-up compatible?

Hello. I'm a complete newbie in assembling a custom pc and I'd like to ask if this set-up is compatible with each other, how would it fare with newest games?


Amd Fx 6300 processor
Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 motherboard
MSI R9 270X 2GB GAMING 2G video card
Corsair 8GB 1866 DDR3 Vengeance CL9 KIT 2x4GB memory
WD caviar green 2tb
SEASONIC S12II-620 psu
Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus case

I tried to research it as much as I could but I'd like to make sure they're ok?

Well, since you are using a 95w processor, there isn't as much of a chance of cpu throttling due to mosfet overheating, but a motherboard with a robust VRM section will ensure that your cpu is getting good power and not overheating the board.

Usually cheap and good do not go hand in hand when it comes to computer parts. This is probably the cheapest board I would go with for overclocking http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514

all of those parts will be compatible.

A few notes, that MOBO isn't good for overclocking, so if you are looking for extreme clocks, you may want to look elsewhere. You don't really need 1866 RAM and depending on the price may save money moving down to 1600.
