Hey guys ive looked at alot of topics on temps and stuff and i was just curious about mine.
Im currently running a i5-4570k
GTX 660 Ti
And my cooler is a h100i
PSU is a corsair 600w

Anyways the idle for my cpu is 40-45c, is that normal with a h100i, one reason might be that came into my head was that my case was to small to put the h100i in the the inside so i mounted it to the top and the fans are on the top of the radiator. But my GPU is where im worried i play BF4, didnt pay any attention untill i started playing the pre-alpha for star citizen. I was just curious of the GPU temps so when i was playing in a hard fight i looked at my temps and they were 75-78c! sometimes peaked at 80!.I heard about the fan curve so i turned it on and it goes to about 60-70c but the fan goes to about 60-70% fan speed.

Are these temps normal? Oh and my cpu runs at 50-55c on max load.

Please message when possible :D

Thanks.

ok so i think i found out what was wrong. one day i was messing with my motherboard program the MSI command center and i went over to the OC genie and i used it and my idle was at 40-50c so i think it was because i OC my system and forgot about it xD but right now my idle is like 30-35c now, when i turned the OC off

If you have a small case, with limited air flow 80c is not unheard of, nor should you worry about it if that is the max temp you are seeing. Usually GPU temps are higher than CPU temps and if you have a small case, it could just be that the components are not getting good enough air flow.

You are very correct, I don't know how I missed that part of his post.

I have a fan on the side that came out of a old power supply which is 120mm that pushes air in and a 120mm exhaust fan. I have one in front 120mm which is the intake fan and the 2 120mm corsair on the radiator which are on top. that blow the air out.

No - I mean use Corsair link to increase the radiator fans speeds and the pump speed.

If your cpu idle package/case temp is still over 40C then remove the cpu block/pump and put it back on again very carefully.
