Hi, I'm familiar and comfortable creating all sorts of live cds using lili... But I want to create a livecd that will install an iso of my choosing (in other words, browse whatever flash drive or DVD it's on to install from) so that I can boot up from the CD to install whatever distro I want on a given computer's hard drive. Anyone know of a good distro/toolset for this?

Generally this is not possible. You have to boot into the distribution that you are going to be installing to use its installer

Of course it is possible to manually do this with a tool like debbootstrap or pacstrap or similar tool...
