Need help explaining why Frames drop when I stream or watch streams

I've been trying to stream and while I am playing League of Legends and streaming at the same time my FPS drops to about 20, and when im not streaming its at about 120. My frames also drop while I'm watching a stream.

This has to do with your CPU mainly. if you don't have a good enough CPU your frames will actually drop. Post your specs.

Try locking your stream to the same frames that you get in game, if you are streaming at 30 and your game is running at 120 fps it could get choppy. Give it a try and let me know if it worked.

What streaming software do you use and what settings. Might have something to do with that.

Could it be my graphics card? I also use two monitors could that effect anything?

Well your card should be able to stream with at least one monitor no problem, try it with one monitor. I heard that the game is really bad at streaming. So basically there is no real fix, only ways around it.

How can the game be bad at streaming?

I have recorded the game multiple times without any major issues.

Try to use other streaming software like OBS.

I just tried disabling my other monitor and now its not lagging at all. What could that mean?

Do you have a preview of the stream running? That might be the issue.

As an example; OBS have the option so you can preview you stream. So you are watching your stream, this can sometimes reduce the performance.
